Kevin Mascarenhas is the Director of the Integration and Support Unit a native of Karachi Pakistan has been involved in Community work on a voluntary basis. He has worked with the homeless and refugees for the last 4 years in inner city Dublin.
In Waterford he has been involved with work with Refugees , asylum seekers and immigrants for the last 6 years.
Kevin has a Degree in Theology and Spirituality and Pastoral studies. He is a Presentation Brother. He has changed five cultures since leaving his home in Karachi Pakistan. He has a good feeling of what people who leave home and have to change cultures go through because he has first hand experience. Kevin presently has Canadian nationality.
He has received a FETAC Level 6 in Information, Advice and Advocacy Practice.
Level 6 in Social and Civil Information.
Kevin is part of an International community of Christian and Presentation Brothers who are working on developing Mount Sion into a place where all will be accepted. |

Anne Nolan is a project Coordinator with over 20 years’ experience of managing individuals and teams, providing technical expertise in leadership to community based groups and projects.
She has an accredited Doctorate in Social Science, an MSc in Community and Rural Development among other qualifications and intends to use her work practice in the ISU, Mount Sion as a basis for structuring a PhD Programme around developing a Centre for Excellence for NGO (Non-Governmental Organisations) leadership and development in Ireland.
Anne has been Coordinator of the Integration and Support Unit for New Communities (ISU) which is operating under the umbrella of the Edmund Rice International Heritage Centres Ltd since 2006. She is committed to the Human Rights, Education and Integration of newcomers to Ireland and follows the ethos of Blessed Edmund Rice in reaching out to the most marginalised in society. |
Jenna Cains hails from Ayrshire in Scotland and began working with the ISU firstly as a volunteer in 2009 and has since been engaged as our Outreach Worker. Jenna is a graduate of St. Andrews University and has aHonours Degree in Marine Biology.
She has spent a number of years working in South Africa documenting research of shark populations in her role as a Marine Biologist. Jenna provides specialist supports to young adults and young parents who are basically alone in Ireland, she also coordinates the International Teens Club every second Saturday in Mount Sion.
As well as Health information Programmes, advocacy work and English Language Summer School Jenna had a central role in developing the Family Support Framework in 2010. Jenna also takes a lead role in organizing sports coaching skills with the FAI & GAA and other areas of development training for volunteers and staff. |
