Our International Heritage Centres
 

There are four centres in Ireland that have been nominated by the two Congregations as having particular significance to the story of Edmund Rice and his Charism lived today:

Waterford
 
Mount Sion, Waterford
  Mount Sion, Waterford where the Christian Brothers and Presentation Brothers began their work identified by Edmund Rice
   
d Westcourt, Callan
  Westcourt, Callan where Edmund Rice was born and lived for the first seventeen years of his life. Here you will find the original home restored as well as a Chapel and Visitors' Centre.
   
d Mardyke, Cork
  Mardyke, Cork which explores Edmund's Spirituality as lived today and has a lecture hall, a large multi-purpose hall, a Chapel, and a prayer garden.
   
d North Richmond St, Dublin
  North Richmond St, Dublin was opened by Daniel O'Connell, and it is here that Edmund lived when it was the Christian Brothers' Generalate. It is the home of Edmund Rice Awards, Edmund Rice Summer Camps, Developing World Immersion Programmes, Voluntary Service Programmes and Network Communication
